From the Frontline: Learning from the Holocaust in Rwanda

Please tune in to the latest From the Frontline podcast on www.FrontlineMissionSA.org. It will be available on our https://fromthefrontline.podbean.com. This week Hunter and I discuss how the people of Rwanda soberly reflect on the holocaust which was unleased upon them 27 years ago, on 6 April 1994. There are still compelling questions which demand answers. How could such dreadful mass murder take place within sight and sound of United Nations peacekeepers without the international community doing anything to stop it? Could the holocaust in Rwanda have been prevented? What steps must we take to ensure that such atrocities do not occur again? "…Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore, the wrath of the Lord is upon you." 2 Chronicles 19:2

Reformation Society: Evidences for the Resurrection

The Resurrection is so important and foundational to Christianity, that it has been targeted for the most relentless attacks. Frank Morrison, a lawyer, determined to disprove the Resurrection and thereby undermine Christianity. The results of his exhaustive investigations were his conversion to Christ and the publication of the book: “Who Moved the Stone?” which decisively demonstrates the overwhelming evidence for the Resurrection. Professor Simon Greenleaf, an unbelieving Jew, who described himself as an agnostic, recognised as one of the most skilled legal minds ever produced, develop the Harvard Law School. He was recognised as a top authority of what constitutes sound legal evidence. After being challenged by a student, if he had examined the evidence for the Resurrection, Simon Greenleaf made a thorough and exhaustive examination concerning the objective evidence. In his book, “The Testimony of the Evangelists,” (Baker 1874), he concluded that if any court of law were presented with the evidence of the Resurrection, it would have to give a verdict in favour of the integrity and accuracy of the Gospel writers and the fact of the Resurrection. What are the facts which convinced these and many others skeptics who investigated the evidence? “And declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.” Romans 1:4
