CHANGING LIVES –
TRANSFORMING NATIONS
If you are praying for Revival and want to transform your community, plan to celebrate the Reformation this October. Friday 31 October is the birthday of the Evangelical churches. On 31 October 1517 Dr. Martin Luther launched the Protestant Reformation with his bold stand at the Castle Church in Wittenberg.
To celebrate the doctrines, events and personalities of the Reformation, and to inspire a fresh movement to work for Reformation and to pray for Revival in our generation, the Reformation Society is organising a Reformation and Revival Conference on Saturday 25 October in Cape Town. This event will be held at the Emmanuel Church of England, Patou Road, Amanda Glen, Bellville.
“Will You not revive us again that Your people may rejoice in You?” Psalm 85:6
The Reformation and Revival Conference begins at 8:30am on Saturday 25 October. It will deal with: The Desperate Need for Reformation Today; Andrew Murray and the Revival of 1860; The Conscience of Martin Luther and How His Quest for Peace With God Affects Us Today; How God Used Martin Luther to Launch the Reformation; Practical Steps to Reforming Our Congregations; Reformation and Evangelicalism Today; What We Need to Do to Reform Our Families; Practical Steps to Reforming Our Congregations and Communities. In the evening the Luther film will be screened.
The goal is to inspire and involve schools and churches to work for Reformation today. To motivate and mobilise a new Back to the Bible movement.
Please visit www.ReformationSA.org for more details of this event, and for resources that you can use to inspire your family, school and congregation with examples of excellence.
If you are in the Cape Town area, please do also plan to join us on Friday 31 October at the Huguenot Monument in Franschhoek for a Reformation Celebration Service at 1pm.
Ideas have consequences. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is life changing, history making and nation transforming.

“All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. For the kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules over the nations.” Psalm 22:27-28
